COP26 is the 2021 United Nations climate change conference and the recent climate change report published by the IPCC has been labeled a code red for humanity which has brought environmental impact sharply in focus for individuals, businesses, and governments around the world.

Per the COP26 website, “On 20 April 2021, the UK Government announced that it will build on its NDC commitments to 2030, by setting the world’s most ambitious climate change target into law reducing emissions by 78% by 2035 compared to 1990 levels."

In advance of the November Glasgow conference, CREW UK is hosting a panel of top real estate professionals discussing how the industry can help tackle the key goals of COP26 through clean construction, policy change and working with communities.  Highlights of progress to date will be discussed and experts will provide their views on whether it is enough, and if we are collectively falling short.
