Join us for the second event of our 2018 calendar, a leap into the digital world, CREW UK networking event, Disrupting Real Estate
At CREW UK, we are dedicated to transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally and we look forward to welcoming you to join in another exciting, informative and friendly evening.
This is a "by invitation only," free event, however advanced registration is required. To secure your place, please confirm your attendance by registering before 30 April.
Our panel for the evening will be:
Ed Grieg, Chief Disruptor, Deloitte Digital
Ed Greig is the Chief Disruptor at Deloitte, based at their studio in Clerkenwell. His role is to look at interesting new technologies and use them to deliver tangible benefits for clients and Deloitte themselves. His team does this by working directly with the technology and building proofs of concept focused on solving real world client problems. The idea is to show the client as quickly and cheaply as possible that the technology or approach that we are looking at can deliver value for their business.
He has led teams on a variety of pioneering projects in virtual reality (VR) and 360° film, as well as in 3D printing, machine learning, augmented reality (AR) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Ed also introduces new ways of working, with practical workshops that challenge the clients’ thinking about their organisations and the future, as well as internal and client-focused ‘hackathons’.
Juliette Morgan, Head of Campus, British Land
Juliette has worked in property for 15 years, specialising in the technology and biotech sectors. She joined British Land in 2017 to lead the strategic asset management of Regent’s Place, one of British Land’s three lifestyle campuses in London. Juliette was formerly the London lead for Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Technology Practice where she led the development of PiLabs – Europe’s first Proptech accelerator. Juliette is passionate about technological trends affecting property and focuses on the future of the industry. She is a regular speaker and writes for Estates Gazette.
Jackie McRobert, Senior Facilities Manager, GoCardless
Jackie McRobert began her career in 1997 with Regus in Edinburgh as a Business Centre Manager and then went on to work at an office services outsource company where she specialised in H&S, FM and property, before moving to Skyscanner. In her four years at Skyscanner, Jackie carried out 10 successful property searches and over 20 fit outs worldwide to accommodate their global expansion, constantly looking at ways to improve and incorporate new and innovative ideas and ways of working. She has recently moved to London to work with GoCardless, a company creating a new international payments network to rival credit and debit cards, as they start to scale up and embark on their global expansion.
